Recombinant Trypsin Digestion Solution

Recombinant trypsin is a highly purified enzyme produced through microbial fermentation. It can be used for dissociating various adherent mammalian cells, including human diploid cells, VERO cells, MDCK cells, 293 cells, CHO-K1 cells, primary chicken embryo cells, and others, making it suitable for a wide range of cell culture applications. Its dissociation kinetics are similar to those of trypsin and can cleave peptide bonds at the C-terminus of lysine and arginine. Due to its exceptionally high purity, it possesses a single enzyme activity, resulting in stronger specificity and lower toxicity during dissociation. This mechanism also reduces the dissociation-induced damage caused by multiple proteases present in trypsin and other extraction reagents. In comparison to trypsin from animal sources, it offers several distinct advantages.
